The fund is actively managed and seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in bonds issued by, or tied economically to, issuers in emerging markets, denominated in USD or local currency. The fund has adopted a non-fundamental policy that under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in debt securities of issuers in emerging markets including, among other markets, Latin America and the Caribbean. The fund may invest in high yield securities, also known as junk bonds. The sub-adviser takes an opportunistic approach in selecting investments and are not limited to a certain maturity range, duration or credit rating.
